The theme for the night was "One Nation, One Dream." St. Cloud Mayor, Dave Kleis said during his mayoral proclamation, "This community has come a long way." Tene Wells, the keynote speaker, however, when it was her turn to speak delivered the message "We can do better." She asked that once the community has achieved the dream of Martin Luther King, did they back off? "You need to addressing the tough issues." she said,"not just eating the food."
